  • Easy-to-Use Interface: Information menus are logically laid out
  • Greatly upgraded the operating system (Android 9.0)
  • Dual-Band WIFI Frequency: Both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz WiFi for signal or connection speed.
  • One-touch Update: Easy software updates to keep it up-to-date with the latest vehicle models and diagnostic technology.
  • Stable Wireless Connectivity: Work ranges up to 33 Feet (10M) for wireless diagnostics without cable limitations, enabling you to walk around the vehicle while running diagnostics.

Why You Need ECU Coding?

For ECU Replacement: If an module is damaged, it must be replaced with a new one. After the replacement, specific procedures to match/learn/code the new ECU are necessary, to make sure the car systems can recognize each other. Without these procedures, the car may not start or some parts may not work properly.

Personalization: Customize OE-setting, for example: recode your lighting setting, which includes brightness levels or even the indicator flashing intervals; set optical or acoustic signals on the vehicle and different warning signals, such as a seat belt reminder. In addition, close some functions that you probably won’t need.

WARM TIPS: The scan tool ONLY lists the available coding options. The Reset menu is depending on make, model, and year.

ECU Data Backup/Recovery

OTOFIX D1 provides a simple mechanism to back up all your ECU coding data:

Step 1: Make a copy of the current coding info of a selected control module.
Step 2: Save them as a file into your scan tool as a backup.
Step 3: To restore coding or programming values, just select the backup file you need and you’ll effortlessly get reverted back to the old settings/coding in the control module.

What is Online/Offline ECU Coding?

They are the 2 ways to perform ECU Coding which are available in OTOFIX D1.

Online Coding: OTOFIX online servers will send coding values in automatic for a quick and precise procedure. This was developed as a smart coding solution that can be used by any technician or shop, regardless of experience. (Compatible with BM-W, Porsche, V-W, Infiniti, and Hyundai …)
Offline Coding: You can manually input coding values for more customized builds. (Compatible with Fo*d, Mazda, Jaguar, Vauxhall, and Opel …)

Why You Need a Bi-directional Scan Tool

  • If a part is not working and leads to the failure, it could be a faulty component, or command. By commanding component to do active tests, via car scanner you can quickly determine what’s issue without removing any parts.
  • Of course, you can do more of that, like access most of the modules on a vehicle, display all or most of the PIDs for various systems including powertrain, body, suspension, ABS and airbags; and perform relearn and initialization procedures

How to Perform Active test Function?

Step 1: Read vehicle by auto detect, manual input, or manual selection;
Step 2: Select Auto Scan or Control Unit — (Powertrain/Body/Chassis …) — relevant module — active test;
Step 3: Take steps by following the on-screen instructions. Note that the function menu is depending on make/model/year.

OE-Level All Systems Scan: Spot System Faults & Find Solutions

You can use OTOFIX D1 to capture system information from the vehicle automatically (AutoScan) by performing a complete system scan looking for modules, or quick access by selecting the individual modules to scan engine, transmission, brakes, etc. (Manual Scan). Either way, this scan tool will help you effectively analyze and identify problems underlying in various system/subsystems:

  • AutoVIN & AutoScan can quickly identify the vehicle information, and lead you to proper diagnostic procedure in minutes. Mostly for 2006+ cars. If fails, try Manual Scan.
  • Diagnose over 9000+ issues with vehicles; decode not only generic but also OE-specific codes.
  • Display live data in graphics that can be merged; easily get notified of a problem as soon as it develops.
  • Obtain ECU information to find the matched replacement for proper repairs.
  • Also support bi-directional active tests.

Graphic Live Data Stream: Easy View, Easy Troubleshooting

This scan tool will build quick communication with the car when reading codes, data evaluation, and even when streaming live data. You’ll get a grasp of exactly how a vehicle is performing, by viewing easy-to-read graphic data from different vehicle systems. For example, you can observe the engine RPM reading, and then press the g a s pedal to see how the RPM responds; or check other important data like vehicle speed, engine load, etc. running status in real-time. This can make your repairs so much easier.

History Recoding Function: Resume Diagnostics Quickly

Every detail of your diagnostic process will be thoughtfully recorded while you are running diagnostics. You can record/review/playback real-time data at any time. And the “History” recording function provides quick access for you to resume the last operation without starting from scratch.

40+ Service Functions: Maximize Your Maintenance Power
